Announcing Availability Expansion of the SSRS Migration Tool to Power BI

The SSRS RDL Migration tool is now available in SSRS 2017, SSRS 2019 and SSRS 2022! You can also migrate .pbix and .rdl files from Power BI Report Server January 2023 and Report Server September 2022.

 

Export to Excel Improvements for Matrix Visuals (GA)

The improvements to the Power BI matrix visual that ensures that structure of data exported to Excel is preserved is now Generally Available (GA).

 

On-premises data gateway February release

It’s our first on-premises data gateway release of 2023! Note that beginning on March 15, 2023, any Power BI dataflow using an on-premises data gateway version older than April 2021 might fail. To ensure your refreshes continue to work correctly, be sure to update your gateway to the latest version.
